3 Bathrooms “The Lodge" is located on one of the most picturesque streets in the village of Smiths Lake, with glorious views of the lake and Sandbar Beach. There’s no better place to escape for a relaxing getaway - whether it’s cocktails on the balcony, wine and board games in the lounge, movie night in the cinema room or a book in the bath.

You’ll also be able to enjoy the perks that come with a stay at The Lodge, from underfloor heating in the bathrooms to cooking up a storm in the brand new fully equipped kitchen.
The home is family friendly - a high chair and porta cot are available upon request for the little ones. The accommodation is versatile and suitable for 2 families if desired.
Pets are welcome upon booking request, they also get to experience The Lodge’s perks - we provide a limited edition Koala dog bed so they get as comfortable a sleep as their paw-rents and luxury pet bowls by Robert Gordon Pottery.

-Reverse cycle air-conditioning is available upstairs with heaters and fans downstairs.
-Make yourself a coffee with the Nespresso Coffee Machine
-Both bathrooms have luxurious Salus hand and body wash toiletries.
-Heated flooring is available in both bathrooms and w/c.
-Guests are a 2 minute walk from village shops - cafe, bakery, butcher, bottle shop, grocery store.
-Downstairs: 2 bedrooms (1 queen room with lake views and another room with 2 king singles), lounge room looking out to lake, fully equipped entertainers’ kitchen and dining area, double shower room, WC and laundry with washing machine.
-Upstairs: A spacious master suite with a king bed and Smart TV, bathroom, cinema
room with smart TV opening out to the covered balcony with views.
All linen and towels are provided but please bring your own beach towels.
We provide hand soaps, body wash, shampoo & conditioner, coffee pods, tea, milk, basic pantry condiments, dishwashing tablets and laundry liquid.
Please be respectful of our neighbours. This is a quiet residential street.
The following rules apply to pets:
Wet, sandy or dirty dogs are not allowed into the house.
No dogs are allowed on the furniture or carpeted areas.
Please bag and dispose of pet waste appropriately
Alexandra, your host will be in touch with you before your stay. She will meet you on arrival, show you around, give you the keys and answer all your questions. If she is not available, keys will be left for you in a key security box, details given prior to your stay.
The Lodge at Smiths Lake is the perfect base from which to explore some of the most beautiful spots on the NSW coast:
Boomerang Beach and Blueys Beach (6 minutes drive) - Start your day right with a swim or a surf on these stunning beaches, or grab a coffee and take the dog for a walk.
Cellito Beach and Sandbar (8 minutes drive) - The East Coast’s best kept secret. Drive down the gravel path, take a short walk through the rainforest and spend the day on this pristine stretch of sand.

July 2024The place is spacious and clean. My friends and I are really enjoy the time staying there. There are even cards game provided within the house. Our dogs also really enjoyed the clean back yard for the morning and night play.

January 2024Loved our stay at Smiths Lake and Alex's house. It was spacious, well equipped and incredibly clean. It was perfectly located, quiet but accessible to lots of things within Smiths Lake. We would note that if it's a hot week, you may be quite warm in the bottom bedrooms and upstairs lounge area as there are only fans, however, there is a air/con unit in the upstairs bedroom for sleeping if you require A/C. Overall, we'll be back! Had a great stay and loved the stay - Alex's communication was fabulous and she was incredibly helpful.

December 2023We had a wonderful stay at Alex’s place. It is a short walking distance to food supplies and not too far to drive to beautiful beaches. The house is flawless. Just like the photos. We loved the two large living areas and top deck with a view to the lake. Beds were super comfortable and bathrooms were spotless. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

October 2023We absolutely loved this house from the second we stepped inside. It looks exactly like the photos, maybe even better! In fact the view from the upper balcony was completely unexpected, it was lovely to look through the trees at the lake. The kitchen is very nice with a large island bench. It is very well equipped with quality appliances. The laundry has a front loader washing machine and a big sink. There is no dryer but there is a clothes line and airer. The backyard was perfect for our dog to sniff about in while we cooked a BBQ and enjoyed eating outdoors. All the beds were super comfy, the main was extra luxurious as the bedroom is massive. Both bathrooms are modern, the upstairs one has a fabulous bath which we enjoyed a soak in. I don’t usually notice floors but the floorboards in this house are absolutely gorgeous and the carpet is also really nice! The home was very very clean and a joy to stay in. We would stay again, I’m sure we will be back!

August 2023First time in Smith’s Lake as we usually go to Boomerang but it certainly didn’t disappoint. Alex is an amazing host and the house and garden are really nice. We stayed here in winter with our two kids and 4 month old puppy, and it was super cosy, well-heated and has everything you’ll need. We watched the women’s World Cup on the massive TV upstairs, hung out in the backyard a lot as it catches all the winter sun, walked to grab coffee from two the local options and had a good squiz around other local spots. The view across the lake to Celito and Sandbar is epic. An amazing house to match the location

May 2023The house was spacious and beautifully decorated, located on a peaceful street. Well stocked with ammenities incl. milk, condiments and Alex even left a cheese board to welcome us on arrival which was a lovely treat! Alex was a great host who was extremely responsive and provided a very comprehensive guide to the surrounding area as well as options to arrange luxury in-house services. We enjoyed hikes in the nearby national parks, beach swims and sunsets by the lake. The desk area upstairs was perfect for working remotely. Will happily stay again, thank you Alex!

April 2023Beautifully appointed and maintained property. All the finishing touches have been applied. Plenty of kitchen and bathroom accessories and consumables. Host was proactive and clearly takes great care of the property and guests. Spotlessly clean and tidy. Upstairs media room had a large smart tv and was a great hang out spot. Easy walk to local shops and down to the lake. Many beaches a short drive away. We brought out dog which was also well catered for and made to feel at home. Great spot for a few quiet days away.

February 2023What can I say, absolutely amazing. The home was a beautifully styled Hamptons house. As soon as you walk it felt like home. So much attention to detail, and so many little things that Alex did, that make you smile and go wow. Ie: fresh milk, cheese, crackers, tomatoes and frnagipani flowers. Lovely candle and bath salts, just to name a few. Without question I would highly recommend this property. The views of the lake were surreal. A perfect home for a home away from home.

March 2023We were so fortunate to find Alexandra’s place last minute. This ended up being our favourite Airbnb on our entire NSW roadtrip! Alex was super friendly, responsive and clearly knows the true meaning of hospitality! The home was beautifully presented and well- equipped, everything was spotlessly clean (especially bathrooms), we were instantly relaxed. Everything was absolutely perfect - it is clear how much care and attention to detail goes into presenting this home for guests. We will be back for a longer stay, so much to do in the area but also the perfect home to relax and do nothing - lots of room for a family! Best breakfast was at the good food store - bacon and egg damper roll, simple and delicious! Thank you Alex, you really did provide an outstanding experience and we’re so thankful we found your home!
